The High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP) has been a graduation requirement since 2009 and has specific requirements. A student’s HSBP is developed around three questions:
Who am I? , What can I become?, and How do I become that?
To answer these questions, beginning in grade 8 and continuing through grade 12, students will complete three career assessments, create a four-year course plan for high school, develop a résumé, and identify their career and educational goals.

Greetings Running Start Students and welcome to Grade 12!
The HSBP graduation requirement has been around since 2009 and there are specific completion requirements; students work with the HSBP department each year to complete annual grade-level tasks through their English or Social Studies Classes.
Students who are not scheduled in a class at Kamiak, Mariner, ACES or MVA that will have a Grade 12 HSBP presentation (i.e. Running Start Students) can follow self-directed directions in the Class of 2023 HSBP Schoology Course AND they must schedule an individual appointment with an HSBP Specialist or attend a Grade 12 HSBP (Virtual) Presentation to complete their HSBP portfolio.
The completed HSBP portfolio is DUE September 30, 2022, for Running Start Students.
